The Indonesian Police have named 16 suspects in the case of Bank CIMB Niaga of Medan robbery in North Sumatra. Three of them had been shot to death during the chase.

"On Sunday, October the 26th, 16 people were named suspects. Amongst them, three had been shot to death," said Deputy Head of Indonesian Police Public Relations Division, Brig. Gen. I Ketut Untung Yoga, in Jakarta today.

Yoga said the 16 perpetrators were tried with multiple articles - 7, 9, 11, 13, or 15 - using Law on Anti-terrorism and the Penal Code. "They have agreed on committing acts of terrorism," he said.

Meanwhile, the supects are also tried with Article 340, subsidiary of Article 338 of Penal Code, or Article 365 Section (1) and (3) jo Article 55 Section (1) of Penal Code and Article 1 Section (1) of Emergency Law No.12/1951. "They are in possession of firearms and ammunition during the robbery at Bank CIMB of Medan," said Yoga.

2. Khairul Ghazali aka Abu Yasin.
3. Marwan aka Wak Nong aka Wak Geng.
4. Suryo Saputro aka Umar alias Siam.
5. Beben Khairul Rizalalias Abah aka Abi Jihad aka Ijal.
6. Anton Sujarwo aka Supriyadi.
7. Agus Sunyoto aka Gaplek alias Plak.
8. Bagas aka Deri.
9. Nibras aka Arab aka Arab aka Amir.
10. Suraji aka Agus Iwan aka Agus Marwan aka Ahmad alias Hasan.
11. Heri Kuswanto aka Ari aka bin Suratman.
12. Abdul Haris Munandar aka Aris.
13. Jaja Miharja Fadillah aka Syafrizal.
14. Dani aka Ajo.
15. Yuki Wantoro aka Rozak.
16. Ridwan aka Iwan.
