The Department of Justice and Human Rights is starting the week with good news. Justice and Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar, Monday, promises to give free passports for novice Indonesian overseas workers.He released the statement during a speech at the Training of Public Notary, Legal Comprehension, and Other Issues for extraordinary members of the Indonesian Public Notary Association (public notary candidates) at a prestigious hotel in Jakarta, Monday. Patrialis grants those overseas workers as heroes of the foreign exchange reserves who are willing to leave their home and family to work.
"By waiving the passport fee, the candidates of overseas workers don't have to sell anything like their goats just to get passports. And to think that they're already making a sacrifice by leaving their family to go abroad."(KOMPAS)
