President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono denies rumors of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati being replaced by Anggito Abimanyu."Regarding the information, I must clarify that it's not true. There will be no official statement of replacing Sri Mulyani with Anggito Abimanyu (Head of fiscal policy of the Dept. of Finance -ed)." said presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha, Ngawi, East Java, Monday.
When asked whether the president recently met some coalition parties' leaders, Julian could not answer firmly and only state that, "There has been no meeting discussing a reshuffle."
Regarding the suggestion from certain parties that the president should testify before the Century inquiry committee, Julian said that it's not yet an official request from the committee.
"It's not the voice of the committee. The committee chief (Idrus Marham -ed) hasn't officially requested it. So there's no obligation to be present."(KOMPAS)
