Former secretary of the Committee for Financial Sector Stability (KSSK) Raden Pardede insists that Marsilam Simanjuntak's presence in the KSSK meetings was as a source of information, although in his verbal foreword he mentioned Marsilam as chairman of the presidential working unit for implementation of the reform policy program (UKP3R).

Raden stated his confirmation when Century inquiry committee member Hendrawan Supratikno from the PDI-P fraction, Thursday evening at the House of Rep., asked him regarding Marsilam's status.

According to Hendrawan, besides from the verbal foreword, in the minutes of meeting received by the inquiry committee Marsilam is written down as the chairman of the UKP3R. Raden then clarified the statement of Marsilam as the UKP3R chairman in the minutes of meeting.

"So there was something uncomprehended during the mechanism of the meeting that time that the KSSK can invite the commissioner board chairman and source."

However, when Mandiri Bank president director Agus Martowidjojo was at the KSSK meeting on November 20, 2008, his name was clearly written down as a source in the minutes of meeting. (KOMPAS)
