Anggodo Widjojo was caught clueless when he was declared as a suspect, and even arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), when he fulfilled his third summons, Thursday.

However, Anggodo, the younger brother of Anggoro Widjojo who is already stated guilty by the KPK, is still optimistic and cooperative to fulfill his follow-up investigation summons. The previous scheduled investigation for Tuesday was canceled because he was still in shock and complained that his foot was swelling because it was trampled in the demonstration that intercepted him on his way home after the scond investigation on Monday.

But, there was nothing he could do this time. More than just investigated, he was also declared as suspect, and even arrested. He is currrently being held in Cipinang prison.

"I don't know why I'm declared as suspect," he commented in powerless tone of voice. His face was also pale.

In his black suit, Anggodo together with his attorneys, Bonaran and Thomson Situmeang, were taken to a car outside the KPK building's lobby.

Meanwhile, a number of KPK employees who were about to go home instead flocked around the lobby to see Anggodo, who was followed by a crowd of reporters as he was taken into the car.

The shock over Anggodo's arrest was also expressed by his legal representative, Bonaran. He was shocked because the summons mentioned that Anggodo was only to be questioned.

He also questions the obscure reason for detention. Especially since so far his client has been cooperative in fulfilling KPK's summons for investigation. "We will do a legal action to defend Mr. Anggodo. We'll see what we can do. I don't think this can be a postponed arrest, because the KPK has never done that."

Bonaran promised to declare what measure will be taken to respond to the arrest of his client next Monday. The arrest has been informed to Anggodo's family and met with equal shock. (KOMPAS)
