Low explosion took place before the Sumberarta Market, Kalimalang, Bekasi, an outlying region of the Indonesian capital. The national police antiterror squad Special Detachment 88 are handling the case."No information has yet to be gathered now as to whether the bomb was some assembled one or not," said Chief of the Special Detachment 88 squad, Chief Comm. Romano Angesta Yoyol, today.
He said that the explosion was allegedly sourced from a man riding on a bicycle. "He was passing through Jalan Kalimalang, in front of the Sumberarta Market, some 100 meters away from a police station," he said.
Chief Romano stated that the squad is still awaiting the assessment made by the police laboratory. "The Special Detachment 88 directly handle the case," he said.
The purpoted bomb exploded at 9 am local time, leaving nails as its shrapnel on the spot. A man was wounded during the incident, the bike rider initialed AH. He is seriously injured on the right side of his body.
