Golkar's chairman Aburizal Bakrie, or cordially known as Ical, stated that there were no deals with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono regarding the results from the inquiry committee on Century Bank that came out Tuesday evening.After the 42nd Anniversary of Golkar, at the House of Rep., Tuesday evening, Ical commented for Persdanetwork that the president has not pressured Golkar at all. "There aren't any deals for Golkar to go soft on the inquiry result."
Ical stated that he trusts the final view of Golkar fraction's members in the commmittee, and that they did consult with him. "Yes the fraction asked my view as chairman."
Regarding Golkar's move to state initials instead of names, Ical responded, "Yes, stating names through initials is fine."(kompas.com)
