The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) has promised to point the institution and the name of the official responsible for Century Bank and all the policies related with the Rp. 6.7 trillion bailout disbursement.

"We will say the institution and person. It can't be just the directors' level. We can't sacrifice innocent people and protect those who should be responsible," said PKS secretary general, Anis Matta, at the House of Rep. Jakarta, Friday.

Intense political lobbies are now happening, and there is a growing concern that maybe the fractions wouldn't risk naming a certain person as being responsible for the Century Bank case. In the final views stated two days ago, none of the fractions mentioned a specific official, most of them only go as far as institutions.

Anis doesn't deny that lobbies are happening, but he is confident that his party would be resolute with their view. "Lobbies won't determine the inquiry committee's final result. There've been plenty of lobbies, but none are significant. There hasn't been a clear request. And the lobbies show no effective effort to change the views. The command from the PKS central board to its members in the committee is: to flow with the facts."

In its final recommendation, PKS will suggest forming a monitoring team. The team is to watch over and escort the legal process that will be recommended by the committee to follow-up to their findings.(kompas.com)
