Hak angket mafia pajak gugur di paripurna setelah melewati proses voting yang ketat. Sebanyak 266 anggota DPR menolak penggunaan usulan hak penyelidikan tersebut."Menyatakan usulan hak angket mafia pajak ditolak," ujar Pimpinan Sidang Marzuki Alie sambil mengetuk palu sidang di Gedung DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Selasa (22/2/2011).
Fraksi yang menolak hak angket tersebut yakni, Fraksi Partai Demokrat, PKB, PAN, PPP, dan Gerindra total 266 suara. Sedangkan fraksi yang menerima hanya memperoleh 264 suara yakni Partai Golkar, PKS, PDIP, Hanura, dan 2 anggota PKB.
Voting tersebut dilakukan secara terbuka. Dengan demikian total suara yang menentukan nasib hak angket mafia pajak yakni 530 suara.
