Vote for the komodo as an icon of the seven wonders of the world, will help the East Nusa Tenggara provincial administration achieve the target of one million tourists in 2011."The number of tourists coming to the province up to September this year reached more than 140 thousand," head of East Nusa Tenggara tourism promotion agency Ubaldus Gogi said here Thursday.
He said the number should increase with the increased promotion and socialisation of the komodo’s participation in the seven wonders of the world. He said that in 2011 East Nusa Tenggara had set a target of one million tourists to the province. Therefore, the vote for komodo campaign is expected to help achieve the target.
