BOM JW MARRIOT-RIZT CARLTON : Police to investigate ‘Noordin’s’ blog

JAKARTA LIFE'S STYLE. Police said Wednesday they would investigate a new blog detailing the methods and reasons for the recent terrorist attacks on two Jakarta hotels.

National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Sulistyo Ishak said police were investigating the authenticity of the blog ‘Bushro’ (www.mediaislam-bushro.blogspot.com), which claims to have been created by Al Qaeda Indonesia.

"We are not sure whether the blog is really connected with the terrorists or not. But we promise we will not turn a blind eye to the case. We will be searching for the people responsible for the website.

"If we find out the blog belongs to those who have no relationship with the perpetrators of the bombings, we will take actions against them for disrupting public order," he added.

The blog claims that the JW Marriot and Ritz-Carlton bombings were committed as part of the organization’s mujahidin against “the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry” as well as The Manchester United Football team. The post is signed by Noordin M Top, Indonesia’s most wanted terror suspect.
