Reports in Indonesia say Noordin Top is dead

JAKARTA LIFE'S STYLE. It's being reported Indonesia's most wanted terrorist, Noordin Mohammed Top is dead.

Elite counter-terror police stormed house in central Java where he had been hiding after a 12 hour siege.

It's not immediately clear how he died, but the Associated Foreign Press is reporting that at least four explosions were heard as police moved into the remote property.

Noordin Mohammad Top is suspected of masterminding last month's suicide attacks on two Jakarta hotels that left nine people, including three Australians, dead.

Noordin leads an extremely dangerous splinter group of the Jemaah Islamiyah regional terror network.

He's also thought to have been behind the bombing of the Jakarta Marriott in 2003, the Australian embassy in 2004 ... and the restaurant attack in Bali in 2005.
