PROJECT MANAGER (Marine/Shipyard) INDONESIA
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall supervision, coordination and control of ship building/ship repair and projects
- Coordinate with the Commercial, Project Management, Procurement and Inventory Departments by setting deadlines, assigning of responsibilities and monitoring to achieve the business objectives of the company
- Develop business plans to maximise available material, human resources and existing structure and processes based on the formulated business objectives.
- Form and assign a team for each project to meet the clients/customers demands.
- Ensure the projects/progress reports are completed and submitted on time whilst maintaining the approved budget limit and standard codes.
- Maintain and build a good rapport between the customers/clients and sub contractors.
- Ensure that the facilities are properly maintained and equipments are in good condition.
- Comply with the standard HSE codes and requirements
- Project Management, across multiple projects
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Marine or any relevant discipline
- At least 10 years experience in shipbuilding/ship-repairs sector. You MUST have worked on substantial sized ship-yards. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record.
- Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Must be hands-on and practical and able to blend with a multi-cultural environment. You will be willing to participate on yard activities, as opposed to being constantly office based
- Knowledgeable in HSE standard codes
- Highly motivated, and a team player
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Good analytical and quality conceptual skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Our client is a global name within the Ship Building industry. They have global locations and undertake new builds, repairs and conversions.
